Ensures Throttle Body, Adapter/Spacer, and Manifold/Supercharger bores are concentric. Edge to edge, no steps due to mismatches. catching the seal all around. All clearance hole patterns adapters allow centerline shifts and bore mismatch. Transitional taper; ensures that there are no steps on the flow path and minimizes pressure losses/drops to manifold/supercharger.
