【Barbara Lynn】
Originally from Texas, she was discovered by producer Huey P. Meaux. She seems to have been blessed with multifaceted talent, not only as a singer but also as a left-handed guitarist and songwriter. At the recommendation of Huey P. Meaux, she moved to New Orleans and released her debut single "Give me a break" / "Dina and Patrina" from Eric in 1961. The following year, she gained immediate attention with "You'll lose a good thing" / "Lonely heartaches" (1962 Jamie). Her album is a masterpiece, with the charm of her delicate and melancholic husky voice, and features slow ballads and New Orleans-style medium-tempo R&B sounds.

This is a really great album with great songs.
